GANITH VIGYAN MELA

06.07.2019 & 31.08.2019 GANITH VIGYAN MELA:

GANITH VIGYAN MELA  is conducted every year to bring out the scientific - skill and analytical thinking of the students. It is usually conducted at school level,Zonal level,State level and National level. An introductory round was organized on 6th july 2019(Saturday) which served as a platform for the Science and Maths aspirants at various levels such as Sishu,Bala,Kishore and Tarun to exhibit the hidden potentialities.

Vivekananda Educational Society which is affiliated to Vidhya bharathi conducted Ganith vigyan mela state level Tarun category( XI and XII) on 31.8.2019 at SKNS PMC Vivekananda Vidyalaya Sr. Sec. School. The inauguration of GANITH VIGYAN MELA commenced with invocation.  Dr. S. Easwaramoorthi, senior scientist CSIR Chennai, Sri T. Chakravarthy, Vice-President, Vivekananda Educational Society, Smt. Prema Mahadevan, Education Officer, VES, Honorary correspondent Sri.K.E. Srinivasan and Principal Smt.K. Sujatha M.Sc., M.Ed., M.Phil were the exemplary personalities on the dais.

Details regarding exhibition:• 11 schools from Vivekananda Educational Society(10 VES School, One Vidya Bharati(ONGC)) actively participated and displayed a total of 75 exhibits in 16 rooms showcasing their scientific skills and creative thinking through self designed working models and projects on topics like Commmunication, Resonance, Human Body Fluid and Circulation, Conic vector and Innovative.• 31 students participated in Science Experiments.• 30 students in Science Quiz, 11 students in Science Paper Presentation, 27 students in Maths
